Deadline for €9k customs grant extended

€9,000 ‘Ready for Customs’ Grant has already funded over 1,800 new customs roles. The deadline has been extended to 31 August ahead of expanded UK checks.  The deadline for applications to the €9,000 ‘Ready for Customs’ grant scheme, allowing businesses to continue to apply for help, has been extended until 31 August.

The grant, which is administered by Enterprise Ireland, provides up to €9,000 for each new employee hired into a customs role. The grant is flexible and allows businesses to claim for redeployed and part-time staff.
