Full Time Accountant

We are looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our growing team. This is a great opportunity to join a successful accounting firm with offices in Wexford, Carlow, Kilkenny, Waterford, Dublin and the UK.

Work Location: This is an in-person role based in either our Carlow, Wexford, Waterford or Kilkenny office, with Carlow as the preferred location.

Start Date: Immediately  

The ideal candidate must be:

• A Qualified Accountant with at least two years' experience working in a professional practice.
• ACA, CPA or ACCA qualification is a must for this position.
• Possess good inter-personal and communication skills.
• Possess good organisational skills with the ability to manage and delegate.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Good technical knowledge.
• Have a working knowledge of some of the most popular accounting packages.
• A knowledge of XERO, Sage Software and others is a definite advantage.
• Be proactive and diligent as an Accountant.

Responsibilities:

• Managing a portfolio of clients.
• Preparation of periodic management accounts.
• Production of statutory accounts.
• Involvement in Corporation and Income Tax Assignments.
• Responsible for the timely filing of clients needs' to Revenue.
• Dealing with queries from clients.
• Plan work schedules.
• Meet deadlines to ensure that client satisfaction is achieved in discharging their compliance obligations.
